Developed to harness the power of the 354 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque of the turbocharged V6 in the S5, the eight-speed Tiptronic® automatic transmission offers quick acceleration from the go and relaxed cruising at highway speeds.[2]

Dynamic steering

Optional on the S5, dynamic steering offers a variable ratio that can adjust according to vehicle speeds and Audi drive select mode. By changing the steering ratio, dynamic steering can help improve straight-line stability at highway speeds and improve steering precision through the corners.[2]

Sport adaptive damping suspension

Available electromagnetically controlled Sporttuned dampers helps adaptively control the S5 chassis response and ride quality.[2]
