Structural engineering

To help protect you and your passengers in the event of an emergency, our chassis engineers designed the Audi A7 to help absorb the energy of impact and remain rigid where it’s most needed.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is both a safety and a performance-enhancing feature. Communicating with the quattro® all-wheel drive system, ESC can detect a loss of traction and can apply braking input to help prevent excessive body motion or slip. ESC also helps you maintain your intended line through a corner with intelligent torque vectoring, and it allows for spirited driving before assisting.[3]

All A7 models come standard with a sophisticated anti-lock braking system (ABS) that helps prevent wheel lock-up so you can brake and steer to help avoid an incident. As a safety feature, ABS can help prevent accidents. The ABS system in the Audi A7 is integrated with the vehicle’s other driver assistance systems that work together to help enhance safety.
