2018 Audi Q3 Safety

The Audi Q3 is equipped with an Advanced Airbag Protection System with six airbags.[2] They include one in the steering wheel for the driver and another in the dashboard for the front seat passenger. Both driver and front seat passenger seats are equipped with seat-mounted side thorax airbags. And side curtain airbags extend from the front to the rear passenger doors.
Every Audi Q3 comes standard with a host of safety features.

Structural engineering

To help protect you and your passengers in the event of a collision, our chassis engineers designed the Audi Q3 to help absorb energy and also remain rigid where it’s most needed.[3]

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

Think of ESC as the nerve center for the host safety systems in the Audi Q3. The ESC system decides when to engage safety features such as the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), traction control (ASR) and torque vectoring to help regain traction and stability when wheel slip is detected.

All Audi Q3 models are equipped with a sophisticated Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution (EBD) and brake assist that helps prevent wheel lock-up so you can brake and steer to avoid an incident.
