2019 Audi Q7 Safety
With six standard airbags including Sideguard® head-curtain airbags and available rear passenger outboard thorax side airbags, the Audi Q7 helps protect you in many ways.
Every Audi Q7 comes standard with a host of safety features.
To help protect you and your passengers in the event of an emergency, our chassis engineers designed the Audi Q7 to absorb the energy of impact and remain rigid where it’s most needed.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Offroad mode
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is both a safety and a performance-enhancing feature. Networked with the traction control system (ASR), ESC can detect a loss of traction and will apply braking input to help prevent excessive body motion or slip, and it can adjust to offroad driving conditions. ESC also helps you maintain your intended line through a corner with intelligent torque vectoring.
All Audi Q7 models come standard with a sophisticated anti-lock braking system (ABS) that helps prevent wheel lock-up so you can brake and steer to avoid an incident. As a safety feature, ABS can help prevent accidents. The ABS system in the Q7 is integrated with the vehicle’s other driver assistance systems, and work together to help enhance safety.
